Happy Sunday!

I am just back from vacation. I spent a great week with my Family on the beach at Gulf Shores.  I found a great scrapbook store in Foley GiGi's Scrapbook.  This store was awesome.   I did have time to make one layout and started on a second while we were away.  I wanted to post this one of my grandson Bryson.  He is just getting in his teeth and his mom got a great picture showing his first 2 teeth.   I used the Baby Steps cartridge for the Baby and Title.

After my visit to the scrapbook store I had so many ideas - They had lots of great layouts in their store and they had used lots of paper layers and I tried to do that.   I also used dimensionals to pop out some of the cuts.  I used this on the baby diaper, toothbrush and title.   I also inked the edges on all the cuts.
I used my new stamp pad from Stampin Up Chocolate Chip.  They have the best ink.
I started on another one of Bryson using the Sesame Street cartridge I will try to get this finished and posted this week.   I am going to try to start posting at least a couple of times a week.
I placed a large order with Stampin Up on Friday and will have some great things to make Fall and Halloween projects with.    I hope to do a workshop to show all this great product.  I will keep you posted.

Have a great day.
Happy Crafting.

Happy Fourth of July!!

I just wanted to post a picture of the fireworks from this past Saturday night (Our 4th fireworks were on Saturday this year)  This was my grandsons 1st time to the fireworks.  I think he had a good time it was just so hot Still 100 at 11:30pm  I also wanted to post some of the projects I had made using my new Stampin Up punches.  These 2 sets I got are great their are so many things you can make for your scrapbook pages or cards.
Before the fireworks.

Bryson watching the fireworks.  He was a good boy!

My sweet family!!!

Sorry about the picture. This is a banner I made using the  #122361Petite Pennants Builder

and this is using the #118074 Owl Punch

I just used some old 4th of July paper I had and positioned the punch over the words I wanted to show. I thought this turned out really good.

These 2 punches are very versatile and can be used for every occasion, banners are just a easy way to add a title to your scrapbook pages.  I will post my layout when I get this finished.

Also I had been watching you tube videos this week on how to make pinwheels and wanted to try. This turned out pretty good

I hope you all have a happy & safe 4th of July.

Happy Crafting!

Stampin Up

Well it is official now.  I am a new Stampin Up demonstrator.   I have just received my starter kit this week I have to say after using their ink pads that I LOVE them they are such great colors & stamp so clean and crisp. All I can say is once you use one of these stamp pads you will never buy another kind. I only ordered the Brights Classic Ink Pad Set this time but plan to slowly order them all.
I just started to play with my new goodies this week but have been sick with a yucky cold so I have not felt like doing to much.  Hopefully next week will be better.

One of the items I ordered was the Owl Builder Punch I had seen some great You Tube videos on projects people had made and it was so cute & a versatile punch.  I had seen on one they made a ghost out of the Owl shape.
I did make a bookmark using this punch Owl Builder Punch   I gave this out with the catalog so people could see what cute things you can make with these punches.   Whether you scrapbook or card make.
I think it turned out pretty good.

Well I just wanted to share my first project with my new stampin up stuff.

Have a good night.

Happy Crafting.

Birthday Book

I just wanted to share what I have been working on the past couple of weeks.  It has been slow I have not gotten to work on but a little each week.  Every birthday we have the "birthday hat" and the birthday boy or girl has to wear and have their picture made.  So I wanted to make a mini album with all the pictures from 2011.  I have been using the Birthday Bash cricut cartridge to make my cuts.  That cartridge has some great images.  I have completed 4 (5 to go) :)

These are not very good pictures.  I still have some more embellishments to add to each page.  I just realized too that one of the birds feet have fallen off on Tabatha's picture (oops) I am going to make the next page for each picture a calendar page for the month & date (maybe how old) I had bought one of the 8x8 Maya Road chipboard books and this is working great for this.  I did have to add 2 more chipboard pages to the book so I would have enough for everyone.  It has been fun to cut out all these birthday images and bling up for these layouts.  I will keep you posted as I finish up this book (hopefully this month)

Also one more thing I have been up to is I have signed up and am now a demonstrator for Stampin Up.  I will start sharing my projects for this soon. Also I think I will have a stampin up blog I will share with you when I have all the info.  I hope I can learn new techniques and share with you.

I hope you hav a good evening.  I am going to get back to work on my album
